Personalized one-on-one tutoring for high school and college students.
I am a mathematics educator with experience teaching college-level mathematics and supporting students across a range of skill levels. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a deeper understanding of math rather than simply memorizing procedures.I offer personalized tutoring in subjects including algebra, precalculus, calculus, and statistics for high school and college students. Whether a student is preparing for exams, catching up in class, or looking to improve long-term performance, I focus on creating a supportive and structured learning environment tailored to their needs.Sessions are available online and in person.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Georgia Southern University Savannah campus and later completed a Master of Science in Mathematics at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. Having completed my education locally and spent more than 10 years teaching and tutoring in the area, I understand the academic environment and challenges many students face throughout the region. In addition to my teaching experience, I previously worked as an actuarial analyst for a consulting firm in Chicago, applying mathematics, statistics, and data analysis to real business problems. I incorporate these real-world perspectives into tutoring sessions to help students better understand how mathematical concepts are used beyond the classroom.
10+ years of local teaching and tutoring experience across a wide range of student backgrounds
Professional experience as an actuarial analyst applying mathematics and statistics in industry
Emphasis on conceptual understanding and real-world application over rote memorization

"Great guy and easy to work with scheduling. He brings resources to assist with learning the material and does not hesitate to review the material multiple times. If the student has the drive to learn the material, he is a great resource. My son will continue using his services to prep for the ACT."-Rebecca W.

In my college course!"-Sam S.

Small groups, big results. Four students work through real ACT math problems together in four focused 1.5-hour sessions — collaborative problem solving with the personal attention of a small group. Offered in one-week ($120) or two-week ($200) packages. May and June only, limited spots available.

Math makes a lot more sense when someone explains it the way you think. I work with high school and college students on everything from Algebra to Calculus and Statistics, focusing on real understanding over memorizing steps.

The SAT and ACT math sections are very learnable once you know what they're actually testing. We'll work through the patterns, practice under timed conditions, and turn your weak spots into reliable points. Better scores mean better options — schools, scholarships, and the confidence to apply to places you'd otherwise skip.

Some students learn better alongside a friend. Small group sessions (2–4 students) keep costs low, build accountability, and let the group tackle problems together — with a math expert in the room to guide the way. Already have a study group? Contact today for a trial session. Rates begin at $30 per student!
